Anybody add 19" gunmetal VMR v710s to a Sparkling Graphite E90 335xi ?

I'm thinking of purchasing a set of 19" gunmetal VMR v710s for my 335xi Sedan...to be lowered with KW or H&R coil overs. Has anybody done this? Pictures? Thanks.

The VMR V710 is one of the most popular wheel choices and you've definitely are going in the right direction! Although, this isn't a gunmetal wheel it'll give you a good idea of how it's going to look on your car. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details!

One of my concerns is that these "cast" wheels are not strong enough to withstand the potholes that I've hit on many occaisions in Philadelphia. I've already replaced three 18" Pilot Sport SP runflats -- but I haven't bent my BMW type 162 18" wheels! Comments?

If my 18" VMR V710's can withstand Boston roads, they can survive anywhere. I feel that VMR gets knocked a lot for quality but it's all undue criticism if you ask me. You can't get better bang for your buck..

Couldn't agree with you more. Riding my 19" V713's around in pothole filled Downtown Los Angeles is not a problem for me at all. They're still nice and around, and they haven't had any issues whatsoever.

VMR is a great company, they've been out in the market for quite a while now and every forum we're apart of love these wheels

Thanks for the support Jurrian! I think those East Coast potholes may be on another level than our LA potholes though

Keep in mind that typically, 19" wheels in general are more liable to damage, regardless of make or model. The larger your wheels get, the lower the tire profile and the lower the tire profile, the less cushion between the road surface and the wheel itself. By choosing 19"s you're increasing your chances of damaging a wheel - but this goes for all brands/makes/models. If you are very concerned with wheel damage caused by potholes/surface changes/etc, 18" wheels would be strongly recommended over 19" wheels.

Also keep in mind that our wheels are tested to meet or exceed JWL/VIA requirements and are produced at an ISO-9001:2000 approved facility!
