day light savings time effect iDrive??

i obviously do not have my car with iDrive yet, but was just curious: Did the change in time effect iDrive. Not sure if iDrive is synced up with the GPS satellites? Or did you have to manually change the time this past weekend? Or does iDrive think like the old schedule, and is going to change the time an hour forward in 3 weeks?

Thanks!

Military time is just 00:00-23:59, it would still have to be changed manually.

nerd

Am I the only one here who thinks it's ridiculous that I have to manually set the clock on a system with three (!) time sources at its disposal?

- RDS/PTY (FM Radio)
- GPS (BMW Assist)
- CDMA Cell network (BMW Assist)
