I need a little giddy dance emoticon ... been counting down the damn days for the new season. Might even geek out and wear my Ferrari team shirt tomorrow.

Strangely, I have a lot more anticipation for this season now that Michael's gone. Besides 05, it was always a sure bet that I'd get to see Schumi action in the first few races. Now it feels like it's anybody's guess.

My hope is there's going to be a lot of racing to fill the vacuum.

I will be watching but not sure how exciting it will be. I will let the first race be the deciding factor. Hopefully there is some good racing with these technological marvels.

Missed that thread! My 2 year old actually remembered watching last season with me ... when I turned on practice last night he came running as soon as he heard the engine noise. He was yelling, 'Daddy, race cars! Race cars are on?!?' And then he started pointing to the cars and asking, "Barrichello"? "Ferrari?" (I have an autographed Barrichello picture from the Ferrari days hung on the wall ... yeah, I'm a closet Barrichello fan for some reason.)

I'm geeking out and wearing my Ferrari team shirt today. Had a dude at work ask me what Nascar team it was for.

I sure hope Lewis doesn't pull a Nico. He looked good last night.
