Put your mufflers back on? Most aftermarket exhausts/mufflers will exhibit a certain degree of drone

Catless exhaust with resonators which I welded into midpipes helped me tune my exhaust perfect! Very little drone and got rid of the raspyness that I had...Before the resonators I hated the way the car sounded! RICEY

How much do the Vibrants weigh?

It looks like they are maybe 5-6 lbs each?

Anyone come across anything that weighs less? I guess those racing mufflers, at 2lbs or so, are horribly expensive ($200 each).

Granted, compared to the 30+ lbs for the stock mufflers, it's still a big weight savings!

I noticed recently that a tune actually reduces the drone a little bit on the E90 6MT, as the worst drone occurs when going up an incline on the highway. The tune reduces required throttle and lessens the drone.

I am not sure if you going to get rid of the drone completely....I have a catback system with resonators added to eliminate the drone and rasp, but your just using these resonators without any mufflers, so it might not solve your problems..I hope it does but if you do add some mufflers ontop of these resonators it will eliminate at least 90% I would imagine...hope it works out....As for the weight I think there were about 10-11 pounds total for both

an x-pipe should help with the drone.

congrats, hope it helped out with the drone.

I have a simple set-up, just replaced the resonator with an xpipe and the mufflers with Magnaflows. I guess my next step is to get some hiflow cats.
