I saw an X6 in sparkling graphite yesterday and it looked fantastic from the back / rear 3/4. I'm still not sure about the front end.

I sat in one last time I was at the dealership and it impressed me but I still can't believe they only put 2 seats in the back.

I like the X6. We all know it deosnt make much sense, but at least it doesnt pretend to be something it isn't such as a RRS dressed up in all it's bling. The X5 is pretty anonymous by comparison. Dont think I'd enjoy turning up at my clients in one though!

A mystery!

They have a matt black wrapped one in Park Lane (or they had last month anyway), blacked-out wheels and everything. Looked immense. That said, so did the sticker price...

Apparently there's a 5-seat coming soon, although it goes a bit against the 'X5 coupe' ethos that it seemed to launch with. Not that I'm complaining, 2011 5-seat version sounds like it'll be my 2013 car allowance recipient.

They do seem to be holding value surprisingly well but a vehicle that is quite controversial and many people don't like. Personally I would be happy for the values to tumble to a decent level and then I would buy one!

I dont understand why they havent brought out an MSport version. "Sporty" coupe, but only avalible in SE???

I am not that keen on it just now, but I think its down to that. I don't really like any other BM in SE spec.

As someone mentioned above a 5 seat version, but in X40d MSport spec would be a very nice machine.

I don't think its their looks that is the problem. They look quite good on the road. What I don't understand is why these things even exist. A five seat version probably makes more sense, but then that's really an X5? Seems like BMW tried to fill a gap that doesn't really need to be filled.
