stop nicking me caps!!!!!

i keep getting my metal wheel valve caps stolen argh annoying kids nabbing em for their bikes. 2nd time now and off my old e46 330. maybe ill buy those chav ones with the big bmw logo on that lock..NOT!

I thought of that too, but decided it might be best to lose a valve cap, rather than risk a kicked-in wing from the chavvy lout who's now frustrated because he can't nick the cap.
You could always get cheap black plastic ones...

always have this bloody problem with chavvy kids!! Yer i got them with locks on and never had a problem since (erm well unless you forget where you put the allen key when you need to put pressure in your tyres of course!)

Don't know how much the OEM ones cost, but Halfords do a pack of 5 that are very similar to those from BMW - I think they were £2.
It might also be worth investigating whether you have a wheel balance problem; however, if the vibration was sufficient to loosen the caps, I imagine you'd feel it.
No harm checking though...

Me too. I've been down the route of shiny valve caps kin the past, and IMO black plastic is better.

I had the allen key ones on my E46-look great but not practical when you want to put tyre pressure in! Thinking of going black again as at least they wont be tempted to nick them!!
