I don't know anything about the product, but it looks interesting and I might purchase if lots of people are satisfied. However, that website is pretty bad. Most of the links don't work and texts are all over the place.

What's wrong with their site? Looks like one of the better sites referenced here. Must be your browser.

But I don't trust myself to install this on my own. I don't understand these companies that sell rolls of vinyl for a pretty penny. Offer me a service and I might be interested.

Very simple to put on...just take your time. I ordered mine from that site...great product, great price, and shipping didnt take long. They give you 30 feet I believe, and I have plenty left incase I were to screw up on a section. The vinyl is very easy to work with..you can stretch it very far without ripping it.
Go for it! |

Just stretch it across the trim by hand, pull it tight and work along front to rear, peeling the backing in small sections at a time.
I never managed to get one piece to pull right round the rear quarter piece though. I joined it about half way, and then again a small join at the seam along the bottom window trim. Be careful tucing in the overhang after trimming, dont slice into any rubber door seals or your paint. And don't jam a credit card under the trims too far as you can tuck the water seals in but these are easily popped back out by sliding a small card edge along them. Not an easy fit IMO, second time it was easy BTW this stuff sticks like you wont believe after its been in the sun. Went to redo a section I wasn't happy with and wow its tough to peel back! |

i got the shadowline trim and i tried installing it myself. i did a bad job so i had to get it off. it is a pain in the ASS to get it off. i just got Long to redo it with his vinyl. if u can get the shadowline on right the first time it looks awesome but if u mess up and plan to take it off you are gonna get friggen annoyed.
