Getting my car in 2 weeks. Buying new from BMW.

1) Does anyone know how many speakers the e90 325i w/idrive have?

2) Does it have tweeters on the front door frame behind the mirrors?

Congrats. My E92 325 doesn't have the tweeters on the front door frame behind the mirrors.

I was surprised by this myself.

I originally looked only at e92 and e93. The e90 has the following upgrades for a lower price:
idrive
navigation
10 speaker hifi
ipod USB

on e92/e93 you have to step up to a 335i to get those. to me these made the interior a much better place than the e92. the e92 exterior is still nicer but i spend more time inside

Did u look at the pre LCI e92/93? The new e92/93 should come with idrive. Sure, price is big diff between pre LCI & LCI one...

looked at both pre and post. the dealer told me even on LCI, idrive only on 335i for e92/e93. I was only looking at 325i.

No as I stated here.

Don't care to wait 5 months for the 528i. Initially dealer told me 3 and then changed to 5 months 3 weeks after I put down the deposit which is why I changed to something they had in stock. I don't have a car now and needed one sooner.

Yes they are having a promo on the 325i for the last few 2010 models. I think they had 5 or so left. It was a bit strange to find out that the E90 325i/330i comes standard with Nav, but the E92/93/F10/F7 don't except for the top of the line 335i and 550i models.
