Thule Bike Carriers on OEM Roof Rack???

Ive searched and searched and cant find the solution to my problem.

I recently purchased the OEM Base Roof Rack from BMW and two bike carriers from Thule.

When I went to put the bike carriers on the rack I realized that the bike carriers attachments aren't wide enough to attach to the wide OEM bars.

Not sure if thats the best description of what Im talking about. Pretty much Im looking for close up pics of how people have attached Thule bike carriers onto the OEM rack.

If anyone has any idea or pics of this that would be awesome!!!

thanks in advance

I actually retro-fitted the clamps for my Yakima ski racks to attach my thule bike rack. You can get them at yakima dealers for like $10 or $15 each. Not ideal but works pretty well and looks relatively clean. I will get some pics today or tomorrow of my setup and the clamps so you can show the dealer what part you need. Since I am writing this at 2:30 am you may want to shoot me a PM to remind me to get those pics.....

which thule bike racks did you get - you need to get the aero ones with the T-style mounts (X-adapters). You can't use the ones that brace around the rack.
