Headlight lenses

My headlight lenses are shot- chipped up, faded, cloudy, nasty looking.

BMW doesn't sell just the lense, only the entire headlight which would be $1200 for the pair

Do I have any options???

I've used that kit on an old Ford truck and it was incredible the difference it made.

Option 2 is rear ending someone and letting insurance pay for it, but I wouldn't suggest that.

I wish the lenses were like the old E46 ones where you could just replace the lens.

No offense but the above products seem a little pricey. There's also a $20 kit you can get from Advance Auto Parts or similar store. Fine liquid polish, 3-4 different grit sanding pads, and a sealer to wipe over the top to make it last longer.

In my experience those kits don't work worth a damn. Tried one on my E90 fog lights which were slightly pitted but didn't need much help. Used even the heaviest grit and it made little difference.
