key fob?

Hi

Can you change the cover of an E9X fob if i put a spare one from a place like ebay?

I am not looking to reprogramme but just change its cover as one of mine is scratched up.

does the fob just split open?

i don't believe they are user serviceable i.e. to change battery..

i think you would struggle to not break it while splitting it open

If it has minor scratches then you should not worry. I don't even look at the key fob at all ... just slot it in and start the engine and off I go
