All 4 Wheels in the Trunk

Is it possible to fit all 4 161 style rims with tires in the trunk without folding rear seats?

+1 u need to fold the seats. i did this when i sold my 159's.

maybe u can try to put two in the back. the fronts, since theyre not as wide. and then put two in the rear seats. not sure if it will work.

not even close. You can fit one rear and one front. Thats it. I know because I have done it...

you can also fit the remaining wheels in your backseat...

just curious, it won't fit on the floor at the rear seats right?
well i might as well just bring some cover for the rear seats as i'm only going to collect them myself.

You can put all 4 in the rear seat if you stack 2 on each side.

I've had wheels in my car MANY times.

Just bring 4 large black trash bags. Stick each wheel in one.

two in the trunk, one front one rear, stacked up.

Two in the back seat, side by side, put your passenger seat all the way back to help secure the wheels from bouncing around.

You can even buckle them in, if you like.

yeah, but why do you need more space you can't fit anything in?

in most cases, one front/one rear fits snugly, so they won't move around.

I delivered my 19" ME's to San Diego this past weekend and had 3 on the rear seat and one in the trunk. Worked out perfectly. Just used some old bedding & pillows to make sure everything didnt move around

I would recommend buying 2 pairs of these:

http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/..._tire_tote.jsp

Then put 2 in the trunk and then 2 in the backseat. I bought these so I can easily switch out my summer and snow tires each year. I pack them up in the car and take a short drive to the tire shop. A few minutes and $20 later, everything is done.
