Spark Plug Talk
Ok guys, what kind of plugs come stock in the N54? I've always been an NGK guy. V-groove or Iridiums. I have 40k on my car and I think it's about time for change. I know all about the tool etc. I'm more interested in has anyone changed over to the Denso/NGK performance iridiums?

you can use only OEM ones which are Bosch. The NGK from mini cooper S are a fit but prone to knock.

Did a quick search around and looks like NGK DILKAR6A-11 might work. That's a search based on physical characteristics and heat range. $21.29/EA plug! I think I'll just stick with the OEM plugs for now at $13/ea.
I also found that HKS is making some plugs for our cars. Has anyone tried them long term? Last edited by fl335i; 11-12-2010 at 09:30 AM.. |
