GP Thunder H8 12V Angels not working..

GP Thunder H8 12V Angels not working..

installed turned on...then stopped working while i was driving and threw 2 malfunctions....as of now i have OEMs back in.

Any ideas whats going on?

Where did you buy? Did you get 35W? Or 100W?

Touch the bulbs?

Box says H8 12V which sounds odd to me

and no i didnt touch them...its odd...they turn on when i unlock...i start the car and bam fault codes....then they dont turn on again....

I guess I don't see what is wrong with that description? I have the GP Thunder II 8500K 35W bulbs - installed them and they ran fine. I just liked the MTech 4750k bulbs better so switched them back.

I was thinking mebbe you got the 80W versions and they overloaded the wiring or blew a fuse.

The 35W versions are the correct ones for AE's (and also the fogs on an E92). Especially with the fogs - anything over the standard 35W may lead to overheating of the lamp housing...
