'07 E90 335i - Are there hood options? Will an aftermarket or the newer OEMs fit?

I've read a number of posts, and basically looking for a confirmation. From what I think, my year E90 does not accept a newer (better looking) OEM hood because the bumper and/or lights are different.

Is that true?

Also, are there any aftermarket options? Like an M3 style hood?

I don't know how much newer you are talking about but the newer e90s are much dif in the front and will not fit. I think they may have some vendors that make an m3 rep hood for you car but I really am not sure, you would have to search for that one.
