So so far my car limped once at around 2k miles, and replaced. It was recently reprogrammed by crevier bmw about a three months ago. It started normally during a cold start so
Installed jb3 right after bring reprogrammed ran map 5 with injen intake and hks exahust on days under 80 deg. and stock on days above 80 deg. started running map 4 about 1.5 months ago even on some days over 80 deg. Ever since installing jb3 after reprogramming the car it still started with at least 2 or 3 cranks before starting up. Not just from cold start, but all starts.
Car limped today while cold starting- wierd crank noises car shook then went back to normal, but check engine light went on.

Do i need a bt scan tool before i take my car into dealer?
Should I just take out jb3 and take in my car to dealer?

your HPFP is failing. take it back to the dealer. Remove jb3 and if you can scan for codes. If no tuner codes are stored you are fine and there is no need to erase them but if there is one tuner code you need to erase all of them and make the car limp without jb3.
