Tapping Angel eyes to footwell wire?
Looking to tap into the footwell wire to make the Angel eyes light up when I lock/ unlock the car. Has anybody done this? Need help figuring out the wires.

yes i have and i made a diy.. all here is the link.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388252 and when i did it i did it 3 times inorder to find a way so read the whole thing if anything pm me..

^+1 I followed his DIY and had them wired for at least 3 or 4 months as DRLs and Welcome lights....no problems.
My passenger side angel eye went out so I disconnected the leads because 1 side lit up looks dumb. I need to get a new set. |

Thanks for the DIY link. I will have this done this week hopefully. So if I have them tapped to the footwell wire as welcome lights, I need to also tap it into the cig lighter for DRLs?
Can you point out which is the Cig lighter 12v wire?
