Curb'ed my rear Alloy Wheel

Doh! I just curb'ed my passenger side rear Alloy .'dent is half the size of a 5 cent coin'.

Anyone done this before? Should I just putty it up with wheel putty?? HELP.

Sorry to hear that mate, costs about 300-500 to refurbish the wheel, the easy way out is to let it be though you could try some DIY options. I would say don't spend on refurbing them because if you hang around long enough on these forums you would soon need a new style of rim

You will find that many tyre/wheel shops will be able to do a repair and touch up paint job for around $150 +/-. Some shops will tell you its necessary to repaint the entire wheel to do a perfect job, but unless you have a really critical eye I don't think thats really needed. Another issues is probably whether you need to drive the car while the wheel is away being painted.

woah that's heaps.

unless the wheels are forged, you should be able to replace a wheel for less than 500.

There's a guy in Sydney called Magman and he'll fix up a scratch for about $70.

ouch... sorry to hear that man... i remember when it first happened on my old car ... was kicking myself so much for it.. i'm in brisbane and got quoted 120-150 down the coast to recondition it... so i lived with it til i got my current e92 lol
