The E90 will be vinyled orange as requested. The point being to preserve the color underneath (Barrique Red Metallic)

I will order the vinyl tonight. But prepping starts now since it will be stored in the garage until it arrives.
f***ing love barrique red. Had it on my 325i and I miss it sorely.

Although SGM it's a nice substitute.

You had barrique? My man

I am obsessed with the color, Classy, yet sporty, with a little spice. I have no idea how I'm going to put up with a different color, but its for the best. There arent many of them, Ive seen two cars that are barrique red in my area out of the dozens of e90s.

what's the point in having a color that you love so much, but are just going to cover it up to "save" it? Save it for what? someone else to enjoy, while you were the one that liked it so much in the first place?!?! get what I'm sayin'?

I plan on keeping this car for a long time. I plan on preserving a rare color because after some time has gone by, this car is getting an overhaul.

Your question suggests me selling it. Heh, not a chance buddy.
Whats wrong with a temporary change? Nobody vinyls their cars because they hate their color. Im sure the person who vinyled his matte black didnt hate the montego blue underneath.

Get what I'm sayin'?

props to issabmw. Orange vinyl will look so dope and by looking at your sig, putting that V10 in your 3 isn't a joke either. gl with your build man, once everything is said and done, you will never want to sell your car. M5 V10 in 3?? Whew!!!

The v10 would certainly be sick. What are those motors going for at the junkyards these days?

unfortunately I don't think I can make it to the rally. I need to wrap up (no pun intended) many things before I travel the following day.

I just recieved the vinyl today, but have to put it away until I come back from holiday.

Oh well, it will be worth waiting for hopefully

Thanks man

The orange vinyl is now, the V10 is later I don't plan on selling my car for a long long time, if ever, which basically means I dont care what I do to it.

Putting a V10 in my E90 has been planned for a while, and after seeing the Hartge H50, it was a done deal. I don't plan on swapping it anytime soon as I simply dont have the time, and it is not necessary at the moment, yet once it breaks 140 or 150k miles, its bye bye N52
