i've looked into Dinan tuning and i've read alot about the xede/PROcede but i dont know whats the best route.. Im really digging the stage 3 tune by Dinan but i want the input from you guys out there too.. and who in the virginia/mid atlantic region installs vishnu product..?

random question: at what rpm does the snails kick in in a stock 07 335i? J/W

I have Dinan stage 2, it's a really conservative tune so if it's major performance gains you crave I'd go in another direction (JB3, Proceed, GIAC) and then use the rest of your cash for supporting mods; downpipes, LSD, intercooler, etc...If I could do it all over again I would pass on the Dinan entirely, and if warranty was my concern I'd get BMW's tune before Dinan.. Dinan is cool if you are looking for a slight bump in performance over stock, and IMO Dinan stage 3 isn't much better than stage 2 so if you do decide only go with stage 2.. I would say the Dinan is comparable to a 335"is" N54

OP- Don't be discouraged...it's just that we see 1 of these threads pop up every week. The search function of this website will answer almost all of your questions about the basics. If you have more specific questions, go ahead it's just the repetitive arguing that results that gets VERY annoying

procede is the way to go ive had both tunes

well there are a ton of threads about tuning and the pros and cons of each product. The specific question may not be a repost but the topic is.
