Does PROcede on E93 make sense?

Ok...

I just found out the PROcede that I hear everyone raving about is only $1400, and rather straight-forward to install (apperantly Shiv's Mom can do it).

With that said, anyone have thoughts about doing this to the E93? I mean it is already at a disadvantage considering the extra weight. Thoughts?

Technically, the PROcede should be adaptable to any BMW with the N54 engine (like the upcoming '08 535i), although you may want to check with Shiv @ Vishnu Performance to see whether or not there are any differences in PROcede tuning. With that said, I don't think there are any differences with the E93 335i Convert, so why not add the PROcede?

I dont see why not...probably makes more sense for the convertible since it has added weight.

I ordered one for my e93 / step. My car comes mid. of May. Has the engine-oil a2a-cooler. My main intension is to compensate the extra weight.

Cheers

If I was in the market for an E93, I'd just get the 328. E92 is meant for speed but E93 is meant for cruizin.

The entire point of the coupe-convertible class is to be able to have your cake and eat it too... 335 E93 + procede would just make the convertible even less of a compromise.

I emailed David at Vishnu and he confirms that the procede will work on the 335 E93 - in fact he said (as you might expect) that it will work on all N54 engines, regardless of body type.

I think if BMW comes out with a 135i, I'll get that and totally turn it into my little project car and add LSD, suspension, Procede, exhaust ect... Should easilly be a low 12 second car since it'll weigh 400 lbs less than the 335. Going to be a really fun car.
