Procede V5 datalog files - which to use?
For those who have updated theirs, which Channel_Data and DataLog_Setup files are we supposed to use for V5?
I downloaded the files off their site, and usually, they ask us to overwrite the default files in the User software folder with these two files from the latest maps folder. But I see in the "v5 11-25" folder these two files are dated early November, so they're older than the ones in the User software folder. In the "PROcede User Software_v5.0 AutoTuning" folder, these two files are dated late November and early December, so are much newer. Are you sure we should overwrite the default ones in the User software folder with the ones that come with the 11-25 maps? PS Before you tell me to ask Vishnu directly , I emailed them a week ago but haven't heard back, as I'm guessing they're still getting caught up with things since last week, so I figured someone else here might know the answer. |

I think Shiv is actually out of town right now.
I too noticed that the files in there were older so I didn't bother to copy them and overwrite the newer ones. Mine seems to be working fine.

you don't need to use those default datalog files, I always change the logging channels myself anyway.
I tend to like CAN DME ignition, CAN actual ignition, IAT, AFR Bank 1 or 2, fuel pressure, Oil temperature, autotune boost, autotune ignition, methanol flow. I will change the logging channels if necessary for troubleshooting or want other information. |
