Im using Mtec v2's I like them, their pretty bright. A common AE on this forum is the Lux 5.0 or 5.1

If you are looking for a fuller ring, I suggest the WeissLicht LED Angel Eyes which have a sharper Y design that better illuminates both rings.
If you are after maximum output, then go with an HID kit however I find these overpower the halos. |

I just installed LUX 5.1's and love em, not super bright during the day but they look 100X better than OEM.
Threw in a picture, it was fading light and out of the sun so keep that in mind. Passenger side is Lux 5.1's and highperformancebulbs HID fog lights, driver side is stock, basically(the h11's and h7 bulbs are sylvania silverstars). |

I have an early (Aug. 06 production) e92 that I've tried various bulbs with for the AEs and had mixed success. City Lighting LEDs from e92 lighting looked great, but threw a bulb error; replacing with non-LED bulbs cured the problem. I'm currently running PIAA ultra-white H8s with no problems save for one: when the Xenon headlights are off, the rings are very bright white, but when the Xenons are on, the AEs look like the voltage has been cut to make them dimmer. There's a noticeable pinkish/yellow tint at the lower voltage. This may be why my LEDs were throwing codes, but I'm thinking that this lower-voltage to the AEs when the Xenons turn on may have been phased out on later production runs. Anyone else seen this phenomenon?
