code thrown from turbo related worn out parts?

i was wondering, if i keep my car long enough for the stock turbos to need replacing, will there be a check engine light at the first signs of wearing out turbos or only once they're fully shot? like if the turbo bushings start to wear out will i get a check engine light? thanks

You could at best hope for a CEL for an underboost code. Assuming stock vehicle.

I believe you will hear the police siren/whirring noise when your turbos are about to die

i was told that when the bushing wear to a certain point a sensor will lock the turbo up so it cannot spool and the light would come on throwing a code !! not sure if this is correct
