Wax question for PDC folks

This is my first car with Park Distance Control, and I'm guessing I won't want to put wax on the sensors... at the least it would be a pain to pick it out of the ring... curious what other PDC folks do with waxing. Do you just go around them?

I waxed my car yesterday and packed the first sensor with wax before I took evasive measures. I used a q-tip to get the wax out. I went around the rest

LedZep, use an old soft toothbrush. It works great anywhere you have thin lines that wax builds up in

I used to use one for applying cleaner wax around the doors inside, around the hood, trunk, etc. (anywhere that had ridges or spots where dirt could find a spot to hide), then another brush to remove it. A little anal I know, but hey when I used to detail cars (or my own) I did it right!
