SHO 220 psi pump - snow performance st3
So i am running this pump with dual nozzles that are rated at 60 psi:
1x225 ml/min 1x375 ml/min 2x 250 psi solenoids Failsafe/flow is a labonte My mix is about 70/30 Start psi 5-11 and power nozzle 11-13 psi My procede is reading on 220 psi pump around 14 which should be around 700 ml/min. Since i think that i am running too little meth for my high boost setup (19 psi) i upped the pressure of the pump to do some testing. There is an allen screw on top of the pump which i turned clockwise till the end or at least to a point where it felt looser so i stopped. Max flow of this pump should be 270 psi . When i retested the flow i got straight away a nice 17-18 reading on the procede which should indicate a flow of 150-200 ml/ min more than on 220psi. So total 850-900 ml/min. Now i guess first of all is probably not good to run 270 psi with 250 psi solenoids and that the pump will probably last less so i will try to set it at 250psi max. I wonder if anybody knows how many full turns from totally closed are necessary to reach 250 psi and if you think i need to either get another 375 injector or even a 625 for my power (450whp? /psi levels. Last time i tested i was maxing out timings on 19/20 psi and 700 ml/min. What i find strange is that many here seems to run over 1000 ml/min of meth while it seems my engine is fine with 700?
