man this LA sun is brutal. Any good places to get the car tinted? Is it that much cheaper to go to some reputable shop like LTBMW vs. century west or new century? how much would I be looking at?

tint cost around 120-200 regular one.. unless u want brand tint and that will cost more!

Dealerships such a Century West or New Century don't do tint... If they are offering it, they're outsourcing and that means you're paying extra for the middle man.
Another thing... It all depends on the tint. If you're getting metallic vs ceramic vs hypotiknek or w/e etc.

woah....that place got some impressive yelp reviews....i might just have to hit it up. and 135...that's so cheap!!

any suggestions for types of tint? and what's the deal with cali tint laws anyway? i read on the chp.ca.gov site that tint isn't allowed on the front driver and passenger windows but other websites are saying that up to 70% is ok. confused
