335d coolant level

Checking my coolant level before a drive today and noticed the marker was bobbed only just above the surface of the filler cap.

Also, cap seemed tighter to remove and very small amount of white chalky solid coolant on the thread and cap recess. On the inside, no leaks etc

Car has been sitting for 2 days. Last time I checked the marker was a bit higher, indicating max coolant but it was only a few hours after engine off so probably still heated slightly maybe giving a false reading.

It seems like its a bit low, nearly min according to the illustration, should it really have lost some? What's the correct coolant to buy for top up and is it normal for small amounts to solidify under the cap?

Thanks
