I dunno what sort of drag racing you did shiv, but on rwd/fwd car, a 40 sidewall is a joke compared to a real sidewall that flexes a hell of a lot better.

A 245/45 has the same sidewall height as 275/40. Even if we wanted to go with a 16 size wheel, there are not too many 16" wheels that fit our bolt pattern where we can fit a wide tire like a 275. I would much rather go with a 275/40 over a 245/45
