anyone have this iphone bluetooth glitch?
so while my car was warming up outside, i was in the house talking on the phone. I was about 100 feet away from my car. While I was talking on the phone, my iphone kept switching over to the BMW bluetooth so I couldn't hear anything and the caller couldn't hear me (since i wasn't in the car). So I had to change the connection to 'phone' to reestablish the connection and continue my conversation. The phone kept switching back to BMW every 30 seconds. It was so effing aggravating. Anyway, anyone ever experience this sort of thing?

I think thats just how Bluetooth works, when you get in range, it tries to autoconnect

Function of bluetooth, does that with most bluetooth things. I can sometimes get my car and headset to compete if I am just running in for things.

If you jailbreak your phone....you can program it to disable bluetooth with the swipe of your finger.
I use SBsettings to disable/enable bluetooth/wifi. |

As others mentioned, this happens with pretty much all phones with bluetooth connectivity, and with all vehicles/hardware equipped with bluetooth. This would be considered normal operation.

The problem with warming up your car is that while the engine warms up, the transmission does not. So it's better to warm them up together. |

I'm pretty sure they're talking about warming up the cabin, not the engine.
It sounds like you're standing just within range of the car. I you were closer, it would stay put when you set it back to the speaker. |
