How do the Alpine's compare with OSS? I'm curious because the Alpine seem to be brighter than Lux or AiB and priced between the two, but much lower than OSS. At this point, personally I'm leaning between Lux and Alpine.

one of the biggest benefits of the LUX H8 angel eye system is that it will make the inner and outer ring almost even in brightness. a halogen or xenon bulb will make the inner ring much brighter then the outer ring, making it difficult to look at.

It's not a valid comparison. One cannot compare a system that utilizes the original AE assembly (HID) to something that replaces it completely (OSS replacement rings).

Do note, there are warranty concerns to those that decide to open up their headlamps. It's up to the end user to research and justify if the risk is worth the end result.
