BMW Performance Radiator and Parts
SOLD It's a bummer but these parts won't fit with my Mr. 5 intake. There are plenty of you guys that could benefit with some extra cooling: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1273&highlight You can't get these parts unless you special order them from Germany. 400 Shipped (48 states)

Hi Mr. 5,
Curious to know if it is a plug and play part without any modication needed?? Will that be throwing any code after installed an extra radiator??

There is nothing electrical with the install. The only thing that I can see happening is that there may be a low coolant warning at first since the coolant needs to fill in the extra space. Once the coolant is in the entire system, then it will behave exactly as before. The only difference is that the coolant will run through 2 radiators instead of 1. It's somewhat the same thinking as adding a bigger oil cooler or a secondary oil cooler. There's nothing electrical about it and the oil pump will behave the same wheter it's one cooler or 2. you know,That is an excellent question. My first instinct is to say yes since most engine parts are the same, but I don't know 100% sure.

So if you have the AR oil cooler then you can not use this extra rad for the coolant.
If so would there be a way to fit this with the oil cooler?

Move the oil cooler in front of the radiator, replace with the new radiator.

It will keep you engine temp cooler when you are pushing your car, if you don't track or push your car to the limit then you really don't need it.

AR oil cooler goes in front of the radiator as far as I know. It shouldn't be an issue. This is how he guaranteed no fitment issues whether you have the M Aero kit or longer fog light.
