So I just finished going to the Paul Miller dealer... It was a relief to deal with people who aren't rude and condescending. They fixed the trim that popped out... they also tightened my emergency brake ( I requested that ) changed my wiper blades... and the best thing about this whole ordeal is the NOISE went away! Its a strange thing but I haven't heard it at all.. maybe me banging on the panel helped? Now since my last post my Y cable for the ipod stopped working... they replaced the Y cable for free! Also the mechanic took me to my car inside their huge service bay area just to make sure it worked and he was professional and engaged in conversation... shocking!

The steering problem hasn't came back... and the noise went away... I guess my car likes me now.. JK* but I'm glad these problems aren't around and I hope they won't come back.

They washed the car (without me even asking) and sent me on my way... I decided to stay since the noise wasn't an issue anymore so there was no need for a loaner.

THANK YOU PAUL MILLER!!!! Anyone in the NJ area Paul Miller is great! They also have a computer so you can surf the internet... and everyone says good morning.. instead of that finger in the butt look like ROXBURY BMW IN KENVIL NJ... I regret getting my car there.

I personally feel that the car just needed to be broken into... trust me if anything else happens I will let everyone know.. lol but this has been my dream car and it has been fulfilling my every need on the road... nothing can compare to it.... this car is built tight!! Even thou I had these issues... they are not around anymore and at this moment my car is perfect. I do not regret getting this car... I do however regret getting my car at a POS dealer.

What made me go thru the forum and post this thread was the simple fact that the dealerships were not helping me out and I was pissed... but now all is well.

The steering issue couldve been the cold weather and low profile 18s on my all wheel drive setup... but it hasnt came back at all...

The trim was easily fixed....

The noise.... well that went away after I banged the panel with frustration... noise has been gone...

When you get a new car Im sure there will be something that will not be perfect but you can always fix it... then pure bliss

Good luck with the beast you will find yourself wanting to drive all the time!!!

You could just take it to another dealer. You could take it back to the original dealer and tell them to change the panel. You cold call BMWNA. You could talk to the head tech, the service manager, etc.

I dont believe you steering wheel locks up. I'd think its more of a combination of RFTs, tramlining, and heavy BMW steering.
this!

except if the vibrations are rough enough to knock your trim off I would say there is certainly a problem. That shit is in there good.

Vibrations = run flat tires/low profile tires. But i think it popped out cause the clip was bad.

Dude, I don't need 300 horses for the traffic around my area... plus I wanted a car that will last with no problems... I rather have noises and a trim pop off then to have fuel pump problem and turbo problems/complications.

Plus the new look of the 3 series is pure sex

Complainers abound on these forums. Besides, I have found most of the
335d threads to be very positive. There have been times when I wished I had ordered a diesel. You will love it.

Hey, hey, hey, calm down guys.
Opinions are like assholes - everyone has one. let's be nice.
Remember, it's Black History Month so please, "why can't we all just get along?"

I'm sorry, you're right. You aren't complaining. You are just stating your opinion in a negative way. All the others, they're the complainers.
