Custom built for lease?

Hi,

Been lurking around and I have a few questions, hope you can enlighten me.

Is it possible to order 328i with custom options for lease? If so, how do you estimate a good sale price with optional equipment? What are those * (special options) that require special consideration?

I've put together a base 328i with following options:

Steptronic
Power Seats
Comfort Access*
Fold Down Rear Seats
Heated Steering Wheel

MSRP comes to $38,060. What would be a good sale price for such a car and is it even negotiable, it being custom-built and all.

Thank you

BatteryPowered,

I placed an order for my lease car back in December and is awaiting delivery as we speak. Leasing an ordered car works the same way as purchasing the car off the lot. You priced out the car with all the options and negotiated the selling price for the car. If the dealership has the car on the lot, you get to drive the car home. If not, all you need to do is put $1k down and they will order the car for you. The lease amount (MF, residual, and so forth) will be good for 60 days for east coast ordered and 90 days for west coast ordered.

Hope this help you and good luck

special consideration options are ones the dealer can't order, they need to be customer ordered. If you're going to order a lease though, remember the bmw indevidual program.

The first time I ordered my leased vehicle they asked me to put $1k down, this time around they said they'd waive it. Not sure if it's because I'm a returning customer or ???

I only had to put $650 down for my special-order leased 328i xDrive. My CA told me it would have been $1,000 if I were purchasing the car outright, though.
