The only way I could see a 40hp gain is... well I can't really see it.. Maybe some where in the RPM range with auto tune adjusting.
Here is our exhaust system with a link to the dyno graph. http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/p...duct_info.html The mid range goes up by a fair amount. Good Luck Man! Michael |

i dunno but all i hear is droning. when it takes off sounds like a civic exhaust for sure. wouldnt you rather have that deep growl in your exhaust.

One thing I know for sure: With catless downpipes this exhaust drones like a mo' facker, and has a horrible rasp/crackling sound under load. Not the classy rasp like an E46 M3; more like a V6 mustang with the exhaust taken off. |

Yes, I have OEM downpipes. Perhaps Walter (IlChengis) would chime in as he has this exhaust paired with BB Fab catless DPs:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...99#post8369499 I had some weird vibrations and clunking at first... found out the exhaust was rubbing on the chassis brace plate. After spacing it out with some shims, the vibrations went away and everything is fine. It doesn't drone but it's really loud when going WOT. I'm actually quite impressed with the welds and craftsmanship. On first glance, one could easily confuse it for the HKS exhaust. The gaskets and hardware, however, are a bit lacking. For the weight savings compared to stock and especially the price, I'm extremely happy with the exhaust. |
