Hey guys,

Just wanna ask you lads about this problem i'm having. Basically I have just fitted my 325i e92 m-sport with e46 m3 spec bbs lm's (et25 10'wide; michelin pilot supersports 275 30 19) ..I am still on the original m-sport springs and shocks. The problem obviously is rubbing like crazy in the rear. And i'm not talking about large dips, even small smooth bumps on the roads and 20km/hr turn ins with slight road irregularities..questions are

1. is everyone on Lm's with this offset having this problem?
2. the car is april 2008 built so nearly 3 years, are my springs and shocks now slightly worn out so not taking the turns as well (never track my car so far) - mileage about 30k km.
3. alternative spring+/-shock option I should consider
4. would fender rolling be the definite solution with slight negative camber?

I am planning to do no.4 this weekend but open to other options..really need help with this cos if it doesnt work I might think of getting rid of them and just refurbishing my iforged's I have now..

Should you not be going back to your supplier before modifying your arches if they have sold you wheels that don't work. Depends of course if they recommended or if you knew exactly what you wanted and told them what you needed.

That was always going to be a fail before the wheels were fitted.
Then you made it worse by going up to a 10" rear!

Fender rolling is your ONLY option as all your other ideas won't make any difference.

I'd have a word with your wheel Guy, either a polite one if it was you who insisted on the wheels, or a bollicking if he was the one who told you the wheels would fit, either way the Guy should be shot.

Well I bought the wheels from a private seller who has an m3 csl. Obviously knowing the offsets and they were exactly what I wanted. The only thing was not thinking exactly what tyre width I should have gone for. Ordered 275 michelins as got a good deal from my tyre man who did ask if it's definitely what I was after. Spoke to his colleague earlier and he said shouldn't be a problem to swap to 265 but need to confirm with the boss. Anyway gonna get fenders rolled sometime next week and different tyres. Wish me luck guys. There are a few pics on the photo section. Do check it out and tell me what you guys think. I asked the question here first as our suspension setups are different on the m-sports compared to the NA's.
