Looking at 335xi Sedan
Hello,
I'm looking to lease a 335i xDrive Sedan. I've built one out with: Premium Package Sport Package Paddled steering wheel Heated Seats MSRP 49525.00 Term 27 months MPY 15,000 The dealer is quoting me $430/mo payments with $7000 down (taxes in that). When I went to BMW's website, they offer the same car (with 10,000 MPY) for $3000 down. I would start to feel uncomfortable putting anything more than $1000 down on a lease. Do you think I could get the dealer down to BMW's deal, offer to sign right away if he halves the cash due at signing ($3k to $1.5)? Why is his quote so much higher than BMW's offer? |

taxes on that deal in ny come out to 4333 so the difference is under 3 grand for down pay which is lower than what bmw is offering on website according to your research
you can put a 0 down and still walk out with the car, you would pay something to get it out the door whether its this fee or that fee |

Braxo..your deal is really bad. Do not put 7K down, in fact you should put as little down as possible. 4 Key bits of information you need to determine if you are getting a decent lease deal are:
1) MSRP 2) Your Price (Adjusted Cap Cost) 3) Money Factor (interest rate) 4) Residual Get all 4 items, then you are ready to compare. Go to this thread to plug in your numbers. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...03#post8914103 Let us know what you find out and the community can help you get the car you want for a fair price. By the way, here is Marches MF and Residuals: 2011 BMW 335xi Sedan 24 month | 15k miles | residual 67% | .00190 base money factor 36 month | 15k miles | residual 59% | .00190 base money factor 48 month | 15k miles | residual 37% | .00200 base money factor 60 month | 15k miles | residual 30% | .00200 base money factor Cheers!

I did a build with
335i xDrive sedan Metallic ext Premium package Sport package automatic heated steering comfort access heated front seats harman kardon ipod adapter MSRP: 52640 Neg. Price: 47045 Residual: .67 Money Rate: .0019 For a 27 month term, the offer for this was $595 a month, $3159 due at delivery. 15,000 miles per year. I was expecting on BMWusa.com, they have a lease offer for a 335xi sedan with msrp of $47,565 and $3000 down nets you $429 a month. If my negotiated price is $47,045, who wouldn't the lease also be around $429? |

Using your numbers, the payment would be $592.54 plus tax. This doesn't take into account a cap reduction. Your down consists of 1st month lease payment, bank fee of $725, doc fees, and other fees. Your dealer should give you all the numbers and how much of your 3K is going towards the "cap reduction" ie your purchase price.
Go here to calculate your payment: http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm Overall, looks like a decent deal. Good luck.
