Wouldn't that give you a greasy feel on the seat?

Wash urethane surfaces with soapy water and rinse with clean water and then thoroughly dry. Spray all vinyl surfaces with 1z einszett Plastik Reiniger. Work the cleaning solution into seams, edges and seat backs using a sponge or towel. If necessary, use an old toothbrush to get into the small crevices.

Note- any leather conditioner is likely to make urethane feel softer as they all tend to soften up the polymer (urethane) coating; the problem is that due to their molecular size they cannot permeate the urethane. The only thing that can permeate this finish is water vapour

Unlike cloth or leather, the surface of urethane generates static, which attracts dust. As a result, it can quickly become grimy; although vinyl and urethane covered upholstery is the easiest to clean. Do not use regular household soap and water as they may permanently remove the sheen

Protection - with 1z einszett Vinyl Rubber Care & Potectant "Tiefenpfleger” provides a temperature-resistant seal and an anti-static low-shine matte finish Dust-resistant and retards the fading effects of UV rays to keep exterior ‘rubber’ and vinyl looking like new.

Alternate products

Optimum Protectant Plus has a balance of cleaners, penetrating oils, and UV inhibitors that restores the original colour of these surfaces, protects against and hides any scratches, and protects against sun damage

303 Space Protectant only contains very mild cleaning agents

It shouldn't, if you apply it correctly. I haven't found anything better than 303 for leatherette, though plain ol' water works pretty well too.

and it doesn't really feel greasy at all, at least after it dries well, and does not stain clothes

As said above, 303 won't stain clothes and won't leave a greasy feeling when applied correctly.

Looks like new after 18,000 mi

I have been using 303 Aerospace Protectant, and I can vouch for it. I use a sponge wax applicator to apply it to all surfaces in the car(seats, dash, doors, sills, etc), with obvious exceptions (leather, glass, alum trim). Not only does the 'ette look like new after 18,000 miles of use, the 303 always dries smoothly and doesn't leave streaks like other products I've used. Even if I get it onto the wrong surfaces, it rubs off cleanly and doesn't leave greasy streaks.

The sponge wax applicator works really well for reaching into the small areas, and it leaves zero lint.

Highly recommended!

I just used 303 on my leatherette seats. It doesnt feel greasy, but it does feel a bit slippery compared to before when i sit down. has a slight shine to it compared to before as well. Maybe i didnt apply it right, but I sprayed onto a microfiber cloth, wiped down, and then followed again with a dry cloth.

go with 303 man! you can buff the sprayed area until it's matte. also adds a layer of UV protection. you'll want to wipe down everything in your interior with it..
