So why dont we have PDC in the front of our USA E92's?

How come i see alot of euro E92's with the PDC sensors on the front bumper as well as the rear, and in the US, like mine, theres only PDC in the rear??? Also, every other series has PDC front and rear...so what the heck?

Don't know. My neighbor's Lexus has front and rear too. Just not an option for us...

I originally thought back would be more useful, but since it misses objects very low and close to back tire, I think that front PDC might be more useful.

I always wondered this too. I have front/back sensors on my X5. Must be a cost thing.

I loved the sensors on the front of my X5. I wish the 3series had them in the front, very low on the bumber, that way it would make it easier not to scrape the bumper when parking or whatnot... I have to always park in reverse to avoid it.

In the UK, they are an optional extra, available on most 3 series I think?

damn man.......freaking everything is avialable in europe. Do they honestly think we dont want that stuff or what?! M-tech kits, trim options like piano black, PDC options, like seriously.....why not in the US? The company has specifically said that their biggest sales are in the US out of anywhere else in the world....so why would they skimp out on their best buyers. Trust me BMW, we want EVERYTHING that your not offering us here, so bring it on and we'll add it on haha.

Too many options make the American's little heads explode. Probably 80% of all new cars bought in the U.S. are purchased from dealer inventory.

They need to give us more exciting options that's for sure. i don't care how many heads explode as long as they can sign over their checks.

the PDC is almost useless on this cars. I have hit the tires on curbs so many times when backing into a spot.
