Arizona/SoCal Sponsers?

Hey guys,

I currently am getting ready to order an e92 coupe within the next month, and I know we have a few board sponsers here in the area.

I currently have a 2007 e92 328i Coupe with Sport, h/s, and ipod. Stripper model deluxe basically. I've been out of the game for the past few years, and was wondering what are some popular options on 335's these days. I realize i can search, but that kind of defeats the human interaction portion of it...

I would prefer to go auto this time, as my commute is straight through Phoenix during rush hour.

Any prefered sponser info would be great too!

Thanks

Welcome to E90post.

"Popular" on these boards might not translate into BMW sales numbers . . . As in, the options many people recommend here may be tough to find on a lot.

On the 3-coupe, the M-sport is a no-brainer, makes the car not only look more aggressive but also gets you the excellent sport seats and M tri-spoke wheel. M short throw shifter if you get stick (I can understand going with an auto for traffic . . . almost ). Overall great stuff.

The Premium package is generally regarded as a ripoff, even if you do want leather.

Get the harman/kardon sound system if you want decent sound. The 2011 models have a "Hifi" system but it's not going to rock your socks or anything.

Color is personal preference of course.

FYI: harman/kardon, M-sport, special colors, manual transmission, and especially combinations of those - less likely to find on a lot. You might have to order.

335 is going to be a big boost in power over your 328.

What kind of money are we talking about here?

Thank for the detailed repsonse. It would be an order, I realize most dealers will probably order their inventory with Premium versus individual options.

Is the DCT the new automatic in the 2011 models?

My current color is Montego over black leatherette I think i'll probably opt fro a Black Sapp over Beige. Not sure on trim. Not aluminum.

I'd also be looking at 36 month with 12k per. Not money down.

DCT is only available on the 335is. All other 3s have the standard 6-speed Steptronic (now a no-cost option). DCT comes with paddles; they're optional on the regular Steptronic.

AW/beige - pretty light. A popular combo around here is AW/black and AW/coral red. You'll probably want to get some tints (20% or whatever you can get away with the cops down there; I suggest 3M Color Stable).

Your config looks good overall. No harman/kardon? It's a lot nicer than the stock system, not that much more.
19s are going to be a bit rougher ride than the 18s and not as forgiving with potholes. Otherwise the style 230s fill out the wheel wells nicely.

12k/36 mos is what I went for too. They offered me a 27 month term right before I signed but I declined.
