Hey guys, I am pretty much a noob at taking care of cars, so I really appreciate the help!

There are a few small scratches on the back bumper of my Monaco Blue 328xi. I probably backed up into one of my sprinkler poles near my driveway, not paying attention. There is no real physical damage to the bumper, just 3 inches of a thin paint scratch. Whats the best, easiest, and (cheapest?) way to take care of this? Do I need to take this to my dealer shop, or can I fix it myself?

well if its not too deep I would try some ScratchX and a MF pad and see what u can get done with that!
IF that dont cut it youll need to a get a PC/rotary and buff it out!

The scratch is about .2 inches wide and about 3 inches long.

I was thinking more in terms of using paint to fix it up?
How does ScratchX work?

oh..... if you have paint missing...you would have to get it painted to look right again...if it is in the clear coat scratch x/ machine polisher would work, I think everyone thought you had little clear coat scratches...

Here is what it looks like.
Actually, examining it closer, it seems like the top area of the scratch is clearcoat, and then the bottom part is white.
(haha, don't mind the finger smudge)

hmmmm idk maybe alil touch up paint whould do it i mean if theres paint missing your gonna need that but i think scratchx could take care of the clear coat damage...
