Input Please

I have BMW Perf Suspension as you know. I dont know much about the mechanical end of things. I understand that the kit came with more than just springs and shocks, I guess it had some mounting hardware stuff too right?

When I upgrade to either Koni Yellows(keeping BMW Perf Springs) or maybe Eibach R1s, will the parts from the Perf system be reused, and if so, will they cause any problems with the Konis or Eibachs?

I can imagine how stupid this must sound to those who "know" this stuff, but I just wanna make sure I have what I need prior to purchase and installation.

TIA

usually, the OE top strut mount is re-used, unless you also get camber plates. Then there is an upper spring plate that is sometimes re-used if the kit uses a tapered spring (like PSS9/10, and KW v1/v2). If the kit uses a 2.5" diameter race spring (like the R1s, AST's), then you will not use the upper spring plate. The kit has it's own spring plate that fits the 2.5" spring.

So assuming I just get Koni Yellows, the parts you mention will be reused. Do we know if they will work with the Konis or will I need to get original BMW ZSP parts.

I just put Koni Yellows on from my stock Sport (ZSP) suspension. I just reused all the same parts from the old suspension except for the x4 washers and nuts that the Koni's came with. Hope that helps.

Fraggy, just like syndicategt said, all your existing parts should work just fine with the koni yellows.
