Thinking about getting one installed, anyone have one installed? If so, where did you install the display?

I got a quote for $1900 at Car Toys (unit/custom installation/tax incl.) does that sound reasonable?

I would assume yes since it would be a custom installation, would be pretty lame if it didn't

They said they can install it pretty much wherever I want.

dealt and heard about cartoys, i wouldn't let them touch my car with a barbie wrench

My father has had one on 2 cars. He mounts the display to the left of the steering wheel above light switch and the controller on the center console( where the shifter is) but on the side where the plastic meets carpet
