get AAtune, only $399 if you send in your ECU. Best bang for the buck. I have a 325 too and i have to say i definitely feel the difference after this tune. If you want, invest a little more and get a the 330i 3cycle intake manifold, get your ecu to flash to a 330i and then get the flash from AA as an 330

If I only had a grand to spend on performance, I'd probably buy suspension parts, as you can tell that difference more than anything in that price range. You could get the hr cup shocks and springs for around 699 and m3 control arms for around 400-500. I'd take that over an intake or muffler exhaust any day.
If you must go engine performance, I'd get an aa tune and intake scoops...call it a day. I refuse to pay 500 for an intake that just makes my car sound louder and has a gain of 3hp on a good day, maybe even lose performance on a bad one.

Great to hear your looking to add more power to your E90 325i. Yes, modifying these vehicle's are quite expensive at times to obtain the additional power. The Best Modification that will provide you with the most bang for your $$$ is the Active Autowerke Performance Tune & Performance Drop In Filter which will fit your budget under 1k. Please feel free to PM me directly if you have any questions or would like more information or more suggestions.
