HPFP replaced and intake valve cleaning!

This is my 3rd HPFP replaced. First was with recall around 30000. No HPFP issues/symtoms here dealer just want to do it. Second @ 49000 dealer changed spark plugs, some injectors and HPFP. 3rd @ 60000 - dealer void my warranty bacause of my carbon fiber emblems.

My HPFP symtoms:
No long cranks. Car starts normally but a little rougher than normal.
Car goes into limp mode with some hesitation when hard acceleration after 2400-3000 rpm. No half engine light or any warning light when on limp mode. Symtoms goes away after restart.

Code:
29dc

Difficulty:
Installation is easier than I thought. easier than installing downpipes. A total of 4 hours. Also changed all spark plugs and did intake valve cleaning since manifold is off.

HPFP part number 13517616446. this is the huge HPFP inventory btw.

After HPFP replaced, all spark plugs replaced and intake valves cleaned.
Now car runs stronger!

Voided your warranty because of carbon fiber emblems...either there is more to the story or your dealer is straight bull-ishhh!!!

I just followed the one in the DIY section.
except i did not used a wire brush gun. I custom made a cloth brush. Just make sure to let the carb cleaner sit so it is easier when you brush those intake valves.

They can't 'void' an entire warranty. They can void a particular claim because the cause is something you did. A FMIC shouldn't 'void' anything (it's not liike a boost mod, chip, etc).

Anyone else have issues with upgraded intercoolers?
