Reading codes with v5
Firstly, yes, I saw the video on youtube.
What is doesn't cover is where exactly in the user software to find it. It says "data log" screen. Does this mean I have to select it as a parameter to log, press F7 to begin log, and press F8 immediately after to stop? Or does he mean on the main screen with all the gauges (RPM, Boost, Ign, etc) just to the right of them which looks like live data? In that case, under "codes" it says "0" and units in "codes". Which is it? |

when you are connected to the procede through the laptop, step the gas pedal once and then release it. If the DME codes reads 0, then you don't have any code.

Yes, on that little screen to the right, one of the channels should say 'DME codes'.
