Who here goes to the Edgewater car meets on Thursday? Was thinking about going next week..

Anyone that wants a ticket!

It's becoming quite expensive to go to edgewater with the cop situation. A few of my buddies have been fined $150+ just for driving to it.

I went a few weeks back to meet up with a friend, just barely made it in without a ticket. I've heard that going later saves the chance but then I'd imagine that it gets shut down sooner or later.

Tickets, yeah maybe for the ricers. Buy my 335 is completely legal, so I doubt I would get a ticket.

I might go this Thursday, what time does it usually start?

small group of members still meet there on thursdays. usually we come in early to avoid the cops. park by the donation bins away from the commotion in the middle. never get bothered.

Trust me, I'm far from a ricer. I have tints and no front plate, exactly what they target in the checkpoint. Nice try though

Well I dont have tints, but I got no front plate, but I still have my temp tag.

im shocked that people still go to edgewater. i used to go back in the day with the audi/vw crew, i even remember when it was closed down and the cops started being bitches......

anyway, im down, i should have the bimmer this week.....

We've been meeting just down the road from here on tuesday nights at around 7:30. Past few weeks have been at the PF Changs lot but we are moving over to Houlihans in Weehawken.
