Sport suspension question
Hi, this is my first post in e90post. I am going to buy a BMW 330i with all the options available (almost all) and I have a question regarding the Sport Package. I love the 3 spoke steering wheel, but I have some doubts about the sport suspension. I live in Bogota, Colombia, were you can find a lot of bumpy roads, and how could the sport suspension affect the ride? Would it be equally comfortable as not having the sport suspension? Is the suspension more comfortable without the sport package?

the best thing to do for your piece of mind is to try and get hold of both types and test drive them.
i have sports suspension and i would not be without it. it lowers the car by 15mm and the ride is great. all the best with your new car.

I have order my new 330d e90 in september for delivery on beginning of december. I send a mail to my bmw delaer yesterday, asking him to add sport suspension option.
He call me today: It's to late; since last week the status of my order is "no more change allow". I have to satisfy with normal suspension. sniff... ![]() |

I test drove the 330i with the Sports Suspension and it is a little bit more bumpy than the 330i with standard suspension. Nonetheless, I am getting the sport package since I live in Southern California. If the roads were very bumpy and you want a smoother ride, you might consider getting the standard suspension.

Sport suspensions works well in California because of the good road condition. I wouldn't recommend it for countries in south America and Asia.

I live in Venice, Italy and bumpy roads are everywhere, if you drive into town most likely you will be driving on traditional italian roads composed of bricks, rocks, tiles, marble, and whatever else they use on their roads. Of course potholes here and there. I still drive a 330i Sports Package because it handles so well around the back roads, twisty roads, autostada, Dolomites, and so on. It is a bumpy ride to say the least
