Looks fantastic. Along with the 230s the 189s are my two favourite wheels for nonsport cars.

Fully Sik mate!!!!! Talk about a transformation (not that is wasn't already nice)

Ive been looking at those rims on Ebay. They're replicas though at a tyre shop in Syd.

Just wondering if those treads a RFTs?

Yeh he's running Michelin PS2 RFTs but when they wear out (soonish) he's got a set of Hankook nonRFTs to put on...

If you're looking at getting 'replicas' why not go for a more unique design? All reps are virtually the same price (pending manufacturer/brand) but you could probably get Style 220/225/230s for around the same price and they keep that sporty oem look.

It totally pimped my ride lol

You are talking about St George Tyre? they are located at Arncliffe if you are not urgent just wait for the e90 FS thread.
I met the Sydney BMW boys last months on the 9th and really only waited 2weeks and seal the deal.

The tyres are Ps2 RFT but the rear only have 2.5mm left (close to 1.6 safety indicator) already bought 4x as as-new Hankook V12 Evo so i should be sweet for another few years.

Initial thought about moving from 16 to 18 is the ride is rough, hard, slightly uncomfortable, also feels slightly slower too.

Good thing the grip is so much better going from 205 to 255 rear.
Overall it is the definately worth the upgrade and because i am still on RFT, with the non RFT should soften the ride alot.

Yea i really like the look of the AD-49 M sport style rims but recon they're a pain in the ass to keep clean opposed to the 5 spoke 1s.

Also what sort of $$$ does any1 think I'd get for my 17" V spoke Lightweight rims with brand spankin new RE050A RFTs?

Cheers and soz for getting off track with the thread

Very nice choice indeed - elegant and really suit the car as well as giving extra grip. Worn RFTs are never too comfy but enjoy the grip of those PS2s for now

LOL Rossi, where have you man, live is so bored without you!
These 189 are stock for 335i not 320"D"ave edition.

I can't afford BBS man, i am too poor
Maybe you can buy me a set of 20s with PSS tyre since you have too much $$ to burn?

I know they are not standard on the 320d...You missed the point man! So much excitment over a really boring wheel

Speaking of PSS i put my new set on last week. Really nice tyres, you should get a set. Hankook are shit tyres why did you even bother buying them?
I get ya but honestly i am fairly new to cars and everything is exciting to me.
Its like when your son first learn how to walk and its super exciting for you but everyone has seen it before but still it feels good.

PSS is the perfect tyre for performance car but mine is just a family seden. For me its not worth getting PSS unless if i have 250+ hp.

About the Hankook, i am too poor man and yes i heard they have shit grip in the track but they are one of the best bang for bucks tyre for day to day driving.

Hanks are one of the five best sellers in the 225/40-18 | 255/35-18 setup according to tirerack.
Average review of 8.4
Came 2nd on C/D Nine Affordable Summer Tires test and out scoring PS2.

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...12_evo_page_10

Plus i got pretty good deal for the set for $550 AUD picked up.
The tyre only done 2500k and still have 6mm on the rear.

Maybe you can pm me when you want to sell your pss?
