AP keeps throwing codes

I've been getting random codes like 'no coding' or 'open exhaust flap'. I did the golf tee mod btw. I cleared these codes several times and they keep coming back. Does it happen to you guys?

I don't have the AP, but I assume "open exhaust flap" is because of the golf tee mod

See if they go away if you plug it back in

My ECU has that code burned into it already. If you still have the mod active the code will still be there. You cannot clear it because once you start the car it will trigger again.

Garage List
2008 BMW 335i  [7.26]
2000 BMW 323i  [6.00]
1997 Honda Civic HB  [10.00]
2007 BMW X5 4.8  [10.00]
those codes will always be there. 1 is the tuner code and the other is your golf tee mod code. when you uninstall the ap codes should disappear.

Like everyone else stated, when you uninstall the Cobb the first code will go away. When you reverse the golf tee mod, the exhaust flap code will go away.

Coding missing is a benign code safe to ignore...next update from Cobb will have that code removed..

I'll ignore the code as it does come on time to time for me.

The first code means nothing really. It always happens.

The latter is common for Cobb AP IIRC. It goes away when the tune is removed for service. See post 9.
